An Information War is on on Wikipedia & many Indians do not know about it. An Example - Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale wiki page is being curated to look positive by unknown users

[28 January 2018] I don't know how many of you have noticed but information available in wikipedia is biased, more in favour of liberal ideology. For example - if you see the wiki page of Ranveer Sena, you will find details on mass killings done by the group.

But if you check the page of its rival group CPIL-ML against which Ranveer Sena took up arms,

You will find they have done uprisings, their organisation structure is given. The mass killings done by CPI-ML as a reply to Ranveer Sena have no info available in Wikipedia.

This issue is to stay here for long time to come. You just can't have a way to find a hole in the liberal ecosystem to break the narrative. That being said look at the wiki page of - Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale

The level of propaganda is at the top. Have a look at the few portion of the wiki page -

As if he was a spiritual leader & most notably in his life he worked for reforms and religious purpose & has nothing to do with insurgency in Punjab, Taking whole Golden temple as hostage. The way impression about him is built as if he was noble leader.

Glorification of Bhindrawale -

Bhindranwale has been noted for strongly opposing prime minister Indira Gandhi for alleged policies against Punjab during Dharam Yudh Morcha (battle for righteousness). Later that year she ordered the attack on Golden Temple, Sikhism's most sacred Gurdwara, in Amritsar on the martyrdom anniversary of 5th Sikh Guru, Guru Arjan Dev ji when the complex had pilgrims. Since his death, Bhindranwale has remained a controversial figure in Indian history. While the Sikhs' highest temporal authority Akal Takht describe him a great martyr of the Sikh Nation, who made supreme sacrifice for the sake of faith, the Indian government and rest of the Indians views him as an extremist.

Bhindrawale took whole Golden Temple Hostage, his apologists lackeys and Khalistanis have taken his wiki page hostage

The audio and video archives of his speeches would reveal a very common saying of his- "Sikh ik vakhri qaum hai" (or, "Sikhism is a distinct nation") and he never was reported to have demanded a nation-state but Bhindranwale is widely perceived to be a supporter of the creation of a Sikh majority state of Khalistan.

This gives a feeling that He is perceived as separatists but in actual he was not. Many times in the page it is mentioned that he in actual never demanded separate state.

What kind of citations are given? No idea, total shit. It is free for all Khalistani propaganda all over.

According to wiki page, which explains at length that Bhindrawale also had no involvement in Lala Jagat Narayan murder. He was released with a Hero's welcome. Sources are dubious again

So why did Bhindrawale go to Golden temple, he was invited. And here is some more glorification of Baba ji

In July 1982, Longowal invited Jarnail Singh Bindranwale to take up residence at the Golden Temple compound. He called Bhindrawale "our stave to beat the government."

Baba ji or Gang Leader?

In the chaos of Punjab, Bhindranwale developed a reputation as a man of principle who could settle people's problems about land, property or any other matter without needless formality or delay. The judgement would be accepted by both parties and carried out. This added to his popularity.

"All terrorists were known by name to the shopkeepers and the householders who live in the narrow alleys surrounding the Golden Temple... the Punjab police must have known who they were also, but they made no attempt to arrest them. By this time Bhindranwale and his men were above the law."

The above suggests that the situation in Golden temple was surely only due to Punjab Police.

Baba ji was alive

People who maintain that he survived the operation include Dilbir Singh, the Public Relations Advisor at Guru Nanak Dev University.[43] He stated that Bhindranwale was injured on the right side of his temple. Bajaj, a correspondent for Surya magazine, claimed to have seen a photograph of Bhindranwale in custody.[47] This claim is strongly contested, especially by Bhindranwale's son who has now become a prominent figure within Sikh politics. Some within the Damdami Taksal claimed he is still alive and well. Thus he is supposed to come back and reactivate the fight for freedom from Indian oppression and finish the Dharam Yudh Morcha.[43][48]

So there are two theories-

1. Baba ji was alive after operation was over but he was tortured and killed ( No credible source, even the frontline article cited does not exist)
2. And behold, Baba ji is still alive and he will come back. (This blasted my mind)

There is lot of content which should be there is missing from the wiki page. Some of those which I can list down by memory are here -

1. His links with ISI
2. His backdoor collaboration with Sanjay Gandhi & Congress
3. His involvement in killings of Sikh Police officers in Golden temple compound
4. His last meeting with journalists in Golden temple where he suggested that he will escape to Pakistan by crossing border which was not far away.
5. His feud with Other political leaders in Punjab. 

Why is this important for us - 

Bhindrawale was a separatists and he was responsible for the carnage at Golden temple. Is he a hero of Sikhism? May be ...but at the same time he was enemy of the state. The wiki page is not balanced, Young Sikh kids can be brainwashed by this info, even our kids will be confused over his actions. We can not allow that. This is important for the integrity of our country and our harmony with Sikh Brothers.

Who are putting this content in his page

No idea, I had a look at the wiki page history and the profiles of edits. There have been many edits this year. This page was not like this earlier, I am sure. Most of the edits is from unknown users where we have I guess IP address in place of user name. Clearly those who are editing the page, do not want to be identified. Many of the user profiles have edited only this page.

I hope that in coming days editing wiki pages becomes as easy as using Whatsapp. Our whatspp Unkills will take care of everything. technical know how of working wiki pages is not rocket science but should be known to as many people as possible. Till now it is a small community which with their biases are putting unbalanced details on wiki pages. And then we have these propagandists who have made Bhindrawale the greatest Sikh on 20th century on wiki page. (Not kidding, check the top box of general info. There is no citation or source though, lol)
